JOTA published an article highlighting the plenary session on female leaders in tax law that took place at the VII Tax Law Congress of the Brazilian Association of Financial Law (ABDF), in which our partners Ana Cláudia Utumi and Camila Tapias took part.
On the occasion, Ana, who is a member of the IFA Supervisory Board and vice-chair of the WIN Global Committee, said that the group’s main objective is to encourage networking in international taxation in each country where it operates, in order to offer more academic and business opportunities to women.
Camila, who is also the executive director of the Women in Taxation project, explained that the movement’s idea is to strengthen women’s presence in the tax environment and expand knowledge on the subject.
The plenary session on female leaders brought together representatives from seven movements: Women of IFA Network (WIN Brasil and WIN Global Committee), Tax is Female, Mulheres no Tributário, Tax & Women, Women In Tax Brazil (WIT), Projeto Base – Mulheres que Movem and Tewoman.
